Josephine recently came to see us for a pyometra, an infection of the uterus common in unspayed dogs and cats, but can occur in other animals. We ultimately removed 30 pounds of pus from her uterus! Spaying is not just for population control, but for the health of your pet as well. We are happy to report Josephine is doing well and we are sharing this story with the permission of her parents.
