Our Clinic Family
Dan Turner, D.V.M.
is originally from a western Oklahoma cattle ranch and wheat farm. He attended Oklahoma State University and graduated in 1997 with a degree in Agricultural Economics. In 2000 he received his doctorate of veterinary medicine. He and Rachel married in the summer of 1996 before beginning veterinary school. Dan started his veterinary career among the Amish in Kansas, then moved to the dairies of Sulphur Springs before settling in Terrell. He worked for Dr. Casey Risinger from November of 2003 until summer of 2017 when he and Rachel opened Wills Point Veterinary Clinic. Dan and Rachel have two daughters, five dogs, four cats, and two clinic cats. Dan enjoys both large and small animal medicine. His hobbies are working and taking care of his stocker calves. The family are members of Rockwall and Brin Church of Christ.

Rachel Turner, D.V.M.

In 2000 she graduated with her doctorate of veterinary medicine. She and Dan married in the summer of 1996. Rachel has worked part-time since their children were born. She also worked for Dr. Casey Risinger from spring of 2004 to summer of 2017 when she and Dan opened Wills Point Veterinary Clinic. Rachel specializes in small animal medicine. Her hobbies are caring for the family's two- and four-legged kids and running (sometimes combining the two).
